Cromwell Cup Upgrades:
  • PRIZE MONEY for Open 1x Races! (separate men's and women's pots)
  • For each entry in the Open 1x, $5 will accumulate in a "Prize Pot"

Entry fees are as follows:
  • Singles: $30.00 (Open 1x entry fee: $35)
  • Doubles/Pairs: $40.00
  • Quads/Fours: 60.00
  • Eights: $85.00
Floating count-down starts; please refer to the US Rowing Rules to familiarize yourself with the procedures
found in the “Rules of Rowing” link.
There will be a coaches/coxswains meeting at 6:00AM the day of the race.  
USRowing Membership is NOT required.
Rowers in multiple events are responsible for allowing sufficient time
(Regatta Committee suggests at least
25 minutes) to get from the finish of a race to the start of their next race
-- being late to the start may result in disqualification.
Events with fewer than three entries may be consolidated
with other events or cancelled altogether.
Rower classifications are as follows (please see www.usrowing.com
for exact classifications by age):
  • Lightweight category is <=135 pounds for women and <=165 pounds for men.
  • Junior is any one born in or after 1991.
  • “Novices” include all competitors who have been rowing for no longer than 1 year prior to date of
    race
  • Masters age categories are as follows:
  • Masters A
  • Masters B
  • Masters C
  • Masters D
  • Masters E
  • Veteran: Born before 1950
Masters may enter events for younger rowers. Veteran and consolidated/mixed Masters races will be
handicapped using standard US Rowing handicaps according to boat size (1x, 2x, etc)
Heats will be scheduled
as required for the morning.
  • Events will follow the same order as ‘Finals’ Schedule
Competitors should check the regatta page and Regatta Central on Thursday 7/9/09 and Friday 7/10/09 for
heat assignments and times
Registration will begin at the boathouse at 6:00am
  • All crews/boats must register on race day.
  • Any competitor/crew with an unpaid balance will not be permitted to launch.
  • Competitors will receive an email Thursday evening (7/9/09) with the Regatta Information Packet and a link to the
    heat/final draws.
  • Any lineup changes (esp. Masters events) MUST be received by 5:00pm Friday (7/10/09) via email to
    mwvanneman@gmail.com
  • Masters lineups will be frozen at 5pm, 7/10/09.
  • TRAILERS: Clubs planning to bring a trailer must email mwvanneman@gmail.com by 7/8/2009 so a trailer parking
    plan can be drawn up and sent out by Friday, 7/10/2009.
  • If you plan to drop your club's TRAILER at RBC Saturday night, please park towards the edges of the parking lot
    and EMAIL the above address. We may ask you to adjust your parking spot on Sunday morning. Lot parking may
    be limited to trailers and, if space permits, car-top racks. Lot is otherwise drop-off only (see parking link or regatta
    packet for additional instruction)
