Rowing History: Started rowing as a freshman
at Marist College In Poughkeepsie,NY. I was
bow in the varsity eight my sophomore-senior
year of college. We had a good record and were
NY state champs in 2005. After graduating I
went on to learn to scull at Riverside. Had my
first race last year in November 2008 at the Fall
Speed Order. In 2009 I got 2nd in the double at
NSR 1, 3rd at NSR 2 and at Elite Nationals I
was 3rd U.S double and 3rd in the quad. Then
went on to row bow in the lightweight quad at
worlds in Poland and placed 3rd. This year I
placed 3rd at NSR 1 and 2. I am currently In
bow in the lightweight quad.
Favorite Rowing Memory: No real favorite,
just the overall combination of rowing, racing,
and being with friends is enough to make all
past rowing experiences memorable.
Random personal fact: I was ranked 2nd in
the U.S. in Orienteering before rowing came
along :)

Rowing History: I began rowing at Bucknell
University as a Freshman in the Fall of
2007.After falling in love with the sport, I tried
rowing at RBC the summer after my junior year
of college and had a blast on the summer racing
circuit at IDR, CromwellCup, Elite Nationals,
and Canadian Henley.I decided to move to
Boston to train at Riverside with the HPG and
see how far I could go in the sport.I raced at
my first NSR at NSR II in 2011 with Greg
McKallagat where we were right in the mix with
the top lightweights in the country.From there, I
traveled to Oklahoma City and Hanover, New
Hampshire for different training camps where I
was paired up with Phil Oertle, a rising
Sophomore at Georgetown.Phil and I won the
Mens Lightweight Pair at the World
Championship Trials, and we will race in Bled,
Slovenia at the 2011 World Rowing
Championships.
Favorite Rowing Memory: Winning the
Freshman 8+ at the 2007 Dad Vail Regatta.
