The Riverside Juniors program is a four-season program focused on sculling. We welcome high school athletes during the summer, fall, winter, and spring seasons. Coaches focus on improving the technical skills, physical fitness, and mental tactics of athletes. We are committed to building the abilities of all of our athletes with an emphasis on safety, fun, and team camaraderie.
Winter Update:
Riverside is thrilled to announce that Keara Twist will be stepping in to lead the team as interim Head Coach into 2026.
Keara previously coached junior and masters rowers in Seattle, WA before moving to MA where she completed her doctor of physical therapy. A member of RBC since 2019, Keara has been rowing with the high performance group and has represented RBC stripes and Team USA at Pan American Games in 2019 where she placed 3rd in the womens 4x and also raced the lightweight womens 2x. When not on the water Keara enjoys giving back to the Riverside community, repairing RBCs boats, and spending time with her puppy Zoya.
If you are interested in winter training, we still have a few slots available for both full and part time, please reach out to Juniors@riversideboatclub.com for more information.
For those interested in our spring or summer sessions, the application link will be available in early January.
