To the members of our dear Riverside,

A long winter it has been, and much time we've bide.

Fret no longer, with drinks a plenty,

We'll celebrate our annual Summer entry.

I speak, to the Kick-off Barbecue,

An event, it feels, is long overdue.

On Saturday, the 8th of June,

All are invited, 'till the rising of the moon.

With all well and good, we'll have an early start,

Door's open at 4, even for the kids that are smart.

Rumor has it, that is in the works,

A Brews Crews appearance on the horizon lurks!

Regarding the drink and the barbecue fare,

All will be provided, but feel welcome to share!

To the U23's and those not of age,

Be mindful not to incur lawful rage.
